My station is located in Birmingham, UK, locator IO92bm.
My main radio is a Yaesu FT-710 AESS. I also have a Xiegu G90 and an older Yaesu FT-897D. For DMR, I use a Baofeng DM-1701 handheld running OpenGD77.
My main antenna is a half-wave dipole for the 40-metre band. I recently added a Yaesu FL-2100Z valve amplifier, which works with the FT-710 through a PTT interface that I built myself.
For operating the amplifier on other bands, I use a Yaesu FC-902 manual antenna tuner. It also allows me to operate on the 80-metre band.
I am mainly interested in HF contacts, particularly DX, SSB and digital modes. The station is constantly evolving, so this description will no doubt change over time.
